SK8BOARDING SKILLZ UPDATE:
As of August 16, 2010, I am still unable to brake without watching the board develop a mind of it’s own and head out from underneath me. The plus side is, I consistently end up getting my money’s worth from the helmet I bought.
Approaching large crowds of people in Central Park still makes me anxious as I just know I have no ability to stop in time and prevent myself from ruining a handful of people’s days when I crash into them. Otherwise, my only option is to jump off the board completely and chase it down with a ridiculous ‘I meant to do that’ look on my face.
Still plenty of time before the cold weather gets here. Perhaps a skate tutor is in my near future…perfect for Fall.
